Why do Foundation Training?

This is where I often start with people who haven’t done a lot of training, especially when they have pain.

Foundation Training is a gentle, structured way to improve posture, build strength, and move with less tension. It focuses on slow, controlled movements and breathing to help take pressure off your joints and support your spine.

It’s ideal if you’re living with back pain, joint stiffness, or feel unsure about weight training. Sessions are adaptable to your ability and designed to help you feel more confident, stable, and comfortable in your body.

I find it a powerful tool to reduce stress too. I think you’ll love it.

Face to face sessions in my Rainham clinic.

1 session per week costs £200.00 per month

2 sessions per week costs £360.00 per month

I work with clients for a minimum of 3 months to work towards meaningful improvements.

You can work with me online over Zoom to enjoy the benefits of Foundation training. All you need is to download Zoom onto your laptop or tablet.

Hi I’m Carol, I’m passionate about giving you the most valuable, evidence based and honest support to help you with your pain.  I’ve been my own journey with pain, when I injured my knee. I had two years of pain. My pain meant I had to give up running, cycling and weight training.

The therapist I saw told me that exercise would cause more damage to my knee and I would need a total knee replacement. Luckily I knew that wasn’t true. I kept active and live my life how I want, knowing that my strength training is keeping me moving in the right direction.

How much do appointments cost

Initial consultation, individual massage or coaching appointments cost £60. Cost of packages are discussed provided on request.

Parking

There is plenty of free on road parking on Kenilworth Drive, which is next to my property. There are double yellow lines outside of my property.

Payment

Please pay via a bank transfer before your appointment. Bank details are provided in your appointment confirmation email.

How much does it cost?

Each person’s experience of back pain is unique, so a programme is tailor-made to what you need as an individual and your goals, so the cost depends on your specific needs.

What should I wear for exercise

Gym style clothing and trainers are best. You must be able to move easily. Bring a drink and a small towel too.

Can we work together online

Yes. I offer online Foundation Training and exercise programmes online.

What do I wear for a sports massage

Wear comfortable clothing. Clothing that allows you to stretch and move easily is best. Avoid tight and restrictive clothing like denim jeans. You can bring shorts and a T-shirt with you and change in clinic. Ladies please don’t wear crop tops or sports bras.
