Hi, I’m Carol.
Like many of the people I now work with, I’ve experienced persistent pain myself. I know how frustrating it can be when symptoms keep returning, advice feels confusing and you stop trusting your body.
After a knee injury, I was told that a knee replacement was inevitable. Seven years later, I’m pain-free and have not needed surgery.
That experience changed how I think about pain and recovery.
I became fascinated by how movement, strength and the right support can help people feel stronger and more confident again.
Today, I combine massage therapy with movement and strength coaching to help people reduce pain, move better and return to the things they love.
I love helping people navigate their symptoms and figure out a way for them to feel more in control. Pain doesn’t just affect your body, it’s your confidence, your mood, your sleep and your ability to enjoy life.
I loved learning about how adaptable movement and exercise can be. Creating a plan for each of my clients unique needs is so rewarding. Seeing them get through their day at work and realise that they haven’t had back pain or that they’ve been able to work on their garden without their shoulders hurting is so rewarding.
Combining massage therapy with movement has been a game changer for my clients. We don’t just focus on symptom reduction. It’s about restoring mobility and function too.
I promise to listen, support and guide you without judgement.
Living with pain can be exhausting and confusing. You deserve time, understanding and advice that makes sense.
Everything I recommend is based on the best evidence currently available, but always tailored to you, your body and your goals.
And importantly, if I feel someone else would be better placed to help, I’ll always be honest and make that recommendation.
It has been exciting seeing the transformation my studio has gone through over the last year or so. I offer a private space for sports massage and for a strength session. I have a good selection of professional equipment available. My clients can train in private without feeling judged.
